OUR PUBLISHING STANDARD
How ACTA DIURNA stays current
Market checks, source releases and newspaper editions run on different schedules. We show when a source was checked and when the underlying observation was recorded. A fresh check can correctly return an unchanged value.
The schedule describes our update cadence, not a guarantee of uninterrupted source access or a new article on every run. Provider delays, holidays, corrections and verification can affect publication. Each market panel’s source status and observation date take precedence over its check time.
Saved observations · connecting · Update schedule
Source observation dates stay separate from these checks. A successful refresh does not make a delayed or historical figure live.
Every five minutes
Market checks
Scheduled source checks and visible-page refreshes look for newer supported observations. Prices change only when a provider supplies a valid newer observation. Historical weekly comparisons remain separately dated.
Hourly, including weekends
Newsroom monitoring
Review official releases, filings and material announcements across global markets. Publish original reporting when a development is verified and significant; a quiet check does not produce a filler article. New reports appear after source verification and editorial review.
Daily source review
Information guides
Check calendars, methodology changes and reference links across all 28 subjects. Revise a guide when its explanation or coverage changes; its original publication date stays intact.
On the source’s schedule
Economic and company reports
Monthly indicators, quarterly results and annual estimates update after release and validation. Report dates, observation periods and revisions remain visible.
Sunday, 5 a.m. Eastern
Weekly newspaper
Publish the reviewed edition with its own edition number and reporting dates. Earlier issues remain available as dated publications. A corrected edition is identified separately.
What the timestamps mean
Checked
When ACTA DIURNA last attempted to retrieve the source.
Last successful check
When a source response most recently passed validation; the value itself may describe an earlier date.
Observation date or time
The provider’s date or timestamp for the price, rate or reported measurement.
Written and updated
When an article was originally published and when a material amendment was made. Routine checking does not reset either date.

Coverage and revisions
The configured quote and reference sources do not establish comprehensive real-time exchange coverage. Data licensing, instrument coverage and publication delays vary by provider.
ECB rates are daily references. USGS mineral assessments retain their annual year and grade. Precious-metal source snapshots retain their supplied timestamp; no faster cadence is implied.
A failed or incomplete response does not erase the last verified observation. Where retained data are shown, their date and unavailable or stale status remain visible.
Crypto, derivatives, private-market and individual bond coverage may contain reporting and dated reference information without a configured price feed. Missing data remain missing.
New information is added as a dated report or an identified amendment. Original bylines, first-publication dates, sources and earlier published versions are retained. Corrections explain what changed; new figures do not silently rewrite a historical newspaper or its paid article version.
Scheduled background work depends on the publisher’s connected automation host, network and execution availability. Active pages also check the shared market cache every five minutes. A delayed check or unavailable source is shown as such; it does not create a new observation.
