How to read this map

Currency cross-rates show local-currency units per U.S. dollar, calculated from the same ECB euro reference snapshot. The U.S. card leads with a dated S&P500 index close and shows USD per EUR beneath. Pins locate financial centers; currency references are not exchange-specific prices.

Choose a region with the arrow keys, then use the Market selector. Policy settings and equity-index levels retain their own dates. Shading shows the selected region, not market performance.

DATA & METHODOLOGY

What the numbers measure.

250 largest eligible U.S.-listed equity issuers in the Nasdaq public screener, ranked by reported market capitalization. Includes foreign issuers and ADRs, REITs and listed partnerships; excludes preferred shares, debt, funds, warrants and rights. One common listing is retained for Alphabet (GOOGL) and Berkshire Hathaway (BRK/B).

Price and volume period
Sep 28, 2026–Oct 2, 2026. Baseline: Sep 25, 2026 close.
Universe & market-cap snapshot
Oct 2, 2026. Last price as of Oct 2, 2026.
Coverage
250 companies; 250 verified weekly price comparisons; 250 complete weekly volume observations.
  1. Universe membership is selected from the source snapshot, not reconstructed historical constituents. Market capitalization is the issuer value reported by Nasdaq in USD; foreign ADR structures and multiple classes can make comparisons imperfect.
  2. Weekly price change = (Friday close / previous Friday close − 1) × 100. These are price changes, not dividend-reinvested total returns. The source’s corporate-action adjustments are not independently verified.
  3. Weekly trading volume sums reported shares traded for the five trading dates in the displayed period. Volume represents matched trading activity, not net selling or shares issued. Incomplete histories are excluded from weekly rankings and left blank.
  4. Price is the end-of-week historical close. Market capitalization and the separately labelled session price/volume are from the screener snapshot date. Quotes are captured observations, not a live feed.
  5. Alphabet and Berkshire Hathaway appear once, using GOOGL and BRK/B. Distinct listed subsidiaries remain distinct issuers. This is an editorial universe, not an investable index.
