ABOUT ACTA DIURNA
Financial news with the sources in view.
ACTA DIURNA brings together global financial news, original analysis and a weekly newspaper published by American Business Capital Group Inc. Our coverage connects markets and monetary policy with companies, trade, resources, technology and the balance sheets behind them.
The publication follows 28 subject areas, organized into broader sections so readers can move from the economic picture to the developments affecting an individual industry or market. News reports establish what happened and when. Analysis examines possible implications, assumptions and competing explanations.
Our reporting draws on publicly available releases and data from statistical agencies, central banks, regulators, exchanges, company filings and other identified sources. These include the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, International Monetary Fund, Bank for International Settlements, securities regulators, exchange operators and issuers. A citation identifies a source; it does not imply a partnership, endorsement or licensed real-time data relationship.
Dates and definitions matter. We distinguish an announcement from a completed transaction, an estimate from a measured result, and a historical observation from a current quotation. Charts identify the units, period and source. When a comparison cannot be verified, we leave it out rather than substitute an incompatible figure.
ACTA DIURNA uses AI-assisted research, writing and production. Articles should be read together with their cited sources and stated limitations. We welcome specific correction requests that identify the article, disputed statement and supporting evidence.
Information from global financial leaders.
We draw on published data and announcements from leading central banks, global financial institutions, regulators, exchanges and companies. Sources include the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, IMF, BIS, national statistical agencies and public issuer filings. Every article identifies its sources. These references do not imply endorsement or a commercial data partnership.
Six sections. 28 reporting topics.
Our coverage spans macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy, markets, credit, property, corporate finance, commodities, strategic resources and advanced technology infrastructure.
A newspaper for the week ahead.
The weekly PDF is scheduled for Sundays at 5 a.m. Eastern. The first issue covers September 28–October 4, 2026 and was compiled October 5. Each edition preserves its reporting dates, source notes and publication number.
